COVID-19: Civil Servants Have Become Rogue Authoritarians

Since the outbreak of coronavirus our elected ‘servants’ have become anything but protectors of our freedom, which is the true role of government. Rather, they have become ruthless tyrants who enact authoritarian laws that suppress the people’s economic livelihood and personal liberty in the name of safety.

The National Emergencies Act has become a ticket for government officials to gain draconian power over the people, violating natural rights protected in the Constitution and highlighted in the Declaration, which are the backbone of the United States. Our personal freedom and ability to create and innovate has caused America to become rich and prosperous. Without protection of these individual rights we would have never become great.

At present, we are far from great. Our capitalist system is polluted, which is why the word ‘capitalism’ has a bad rap. If we had true capitalism the Federal Reserve bank would not exist, banks and corporations would not get bailouts, and individuals would be responsible to care for themselves. The government was never meant to be the provider that supports the people. Rather it was designed to be the inverse: the people support the government.

It’s a government “of, by and for the People.” However, if government leaders go rogue and subjugate the people’s freedom—in any way—it is the duty of the People to reject such tyranny and take back their government.

What Has Happened After the COVID-19 Outbreak

The results we are seeing are two-pronged: (1) officials with known authoritarian tendancies have taken draconian measures to new levels, and (2) the people of the United States are bowing down like cowards, following orders like rote slaves without question for the “common good.” The latter is what troubles me most.

Government officials have always been tempted to abuse power. Many who become elected (but not all) have sociopathic inclinations. Whether stemming from childhood trauma or other life experience, some psychological issues incline people to gain positions of authority over others to make them feel better. This gives them relief by exercising control over the population.

Thus it is easy to misuse authority because power is like a drug. All human beings have the potential to naturally become tempted toward controlling others whether for narcissistic or other reasons.

These Are Immoral Draconian Lockdowns

Despite what Sec. of State Mike Pompeo said this morning at the White House briefing, there are “lockdowns” taking place, but the definitions given are a play of words. Many in the media are using the “L” word freely, but when you deprive citizens of their normal freedom of movement you are violating their natural rights.

Lockdowns are immoral because the inherent liberties that all humans have are restrained, usually in the name of “safety.” The Founders, however, offered a wise explanation to this wicked attempt.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” –– Benjamin Franklin

The American people are disgusting in the way they blindly follow orders. This is not who we used to be. The American people come from a longstanding tradition since the Revolution, of being tough, self-reliant individuals who stood for what they believed in and protected their communities. Today, Americans have become softened, emasculated weaklings who fear the government and hastily obey its every whim.

Everyone seems to want to fit in. “Don’t question the authorities,” as if they really have our best interest at heart. Actually, they just love their authority.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights necessitate principles of Natural Law. Personal sovereignty is the overarching principle because it ensures an individual’s liberty to make choices from his free will, and reap the consequences accordingly.

Freedom of speech and the right to defend oneself (the First and Second Amendments, respectively) sit within the domain of personal sovereignty. If you are a sovereign individual then you are free to express yourself through speech, art, etc., and you have the right to defend your life and property against harm.

Further, you have the right to engage in commerce with others in society, buying and selling goods and services, to receive value and gain profits. When government officials deny these rights of citizens, to live their lives as they see fit, it causes more harm than good despite the virus.

The coronavirus is merely a cousin of the flu, and the vast majority of deaths occur in the elderly. Healthy younger and middle-age people have strong enough immune systems to fight and overcome the virus. I am very health conscious. I take plenty of vitamins C, D, and minerals like zinc, etc. to stay well. I also now how powerful elemental silver is in preventing and overcoming illness. I take silver in colloidal form especially when I am feeling rundown, which has been medically documented to kill 650 pathogens!

Here is a video by Dr. John Bergman, a licensed chiropractor in Huntington Beach, CA. He offers true advice and wisdom on how to prevent getting sick from coronavirus. In it he explains the importance of strengthening the immune system through essential nutrients, exercise, sleep and lifestyle changes.

[UPDATED: MARCH 27, 2020] Video was removed by YouTube—unsurprisingly.

I should also note that I am exercising my freedom of speech by saying these things. However, authoritarians in the mainstream might claim this is “fake news” or dangerous claims unfounded in fact. They often try anything to shut down patriotic voices like mine, which is why I have complete control over this website and server that I blog on.

The Economic Impact of Lockdown Orders

The U.S. restaurant economy just lost $225 billion over the past month since the coronavirus outbreak emerged. Much of this was due to forced closure, with the exception of takeout delivery, by government officials.

Still, I have spoken to owners of many small restaurants and eateries in the San Diego area––all are suffering from severe profit declines because of the mandatory prohibitions to host patrons: a completely preventable tragedy. This is unsustainable and extremely dangerous to the overall economy in the long term.

Had the government respected the people’s freedom, business owners of restaurants and eateries would have managed to stay open, using their own reason and good judgement. When traditional flu season hits each winter, it is common knowledge not to touch things without washing your hands, and to keep safe distances from others who are sick.

What store owner in their right mind would not want to keep their establishment sanitized, keeping in-house rules in place as they see fit? Why? Because they want to STAY IN BUSINESS and continue making money.

Nevertheless, when authoritarian scum like NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo or CA Gov. Gavin Newsom make draconian measures to shut down such establishments—people are prevented from making money and supporting their family.

Then federal government has attempted to come to this rescue by passing stimulus packages via Congress. Such legislation would offer business to receive financial assistance from the U.S. government as well as personal paychecks of $1,200 dollars to all adults and $500 dollars to all children. Whether people temporarily lost their jobs in the restaurant sector or not, multitudes of Americans cannot work—because their government won’t let them!

This is sick. The economic aftermath of shutting down by law all “non-essential” business is wreaking havoc on the economy and will have lasting effects. When weighed on a scale between preventing the coronavirus from infecting more people and the austerity caused by people out of work—the lack of money in society causes people to panic, become short of food, buy shotguns, and create chaos.

Hence, the large scale economic impact when considering the U.S. government’s fiscal measures are immense. Where is the government getting these literal TRILLIONS of dollars to spoon out to Americans and bail out companies? Well, it comes from the Federal Reserve, who creates digits on a computer screen and has the Treasure print bills. This currency inflation is causing a grave danger to our entire nation.

The stock market crashed due to this monetary policy that the Federal Reserve has had since before the 2008 financial crisis. What just happened on Wall Street was destined to happen. The coronavirus was only the pin that pricked the bubble. We are now headed for economic turmoil that could be worse than the Great Depression.

Lockdown Orders to Stay at Home

California Governor Gavin Newsom just created a “Stay at Home” order effective Thursday evening, March 19, 2020. This requires all California residents to abstain from non-essential travel and other activities. Subsequently, New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a similar order.

When I first got alerted yesterday of this order I immediately went to CA.gov to see the details of this measure. The State of California’s website has a link to a newly created page for info pertaining to the virus: https://covid19.ca.gov/. In it they issued the following:
